Little Blue Roads is a blog by CL Schilling which consists of reflections written at the crossroads of the life journey relating to our emotional health, our connectivity with others, and our spiritual well being. Additionally, he shares reflections relating to his own discoveries along his life journey.
Originally from Pennsylvania, he is a graduate of Slippery Rock University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication with an emphasis in Journalism. Following college, he relocated to California, where he earned a Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary. In his professional career, he worked in nonprofit management, public relations, and community outreach. He also is a freelance writer and has written articles on topics ranging from spirituality, mental health, and travel.
Today, he is an ordained minister, grief support facilitator, and a board certified chaplain working in the healthcare industry and in the military. He is also in graduate school to become a licensed mental health counselor. He and his wife are the parents of two twin boys. Besides having a passion for writing and mental health awareness, he enjoys cars, traveling, and spending time with his wife and children.
